The 2019 camping season is here!

We took some time to visit one of our favorite close camping spots for Memorial Day weekend. A rare treat with just the two of us we spent some much needed time relaxing, reading, doing yoga and cloud/ star gazing. We cant wait for our next big trip later in June with the whole crew. Our city friend Emi is coming from New York to get a taste of Colorado Mountain living. Its her first real camping experience and we want to make it a great one. We will be taking her to Independence Pass by Twin Lakes. We will post some photos of her experience with our favorite people.

One of our favorite places to camp within 90 minutes of home. We are very tight lipped about sharing the exact locations of our favorite camp sites. I am a firm believer in earning your camp sites by having to take the time to find great sites. We received a tip from a friend about the location of some great sites in Rampart Range. After some adventure and discovery we found this little gem last year during the fire season. Breath taking views of Pikes Peak for our yoga practice. Mountain Yoga is a whole different experience when this is your studio. I love Colorado.

All this camping and adventure would be much more challenging without our trusty truck, Fallon. She brings us everywhere we want to go while lugging around all the supplies and tools we need. We love our truck and it does a great job of being the best tool in the tool box.
